No, especially for Modules 1 and 2. The foundational courses are designed for business professionals without a quantitative background. Statistical concepts are taught in the context of real business decisions, not abstract mathematical theory. If you can read a report and ask “why did this happen?”, you have the foundation you need. Modules 3–5 (Power BI, Tableau, Data Storytelling) require familiarity with data concepts but not mathematical expertise.

They cover the same capability in two different professional tools. Power BI (M3) is deeper on data modelling and Microsoft-ecosystem integration, generally preferred in finance, operations, and enterprise environments. Tableau (M4) is stronger on advanced visual design and exploratory data analysis, popular in consulting, marketing, and data-intensive organisations. If your organisation uses one tool specifically, take that one. The Certified AI-Enabled Data Analyst programme includes both because cross-platform capability is a significant professional differentiator, but each can absolutely be taken standalone.

The GA4 course is the right starting point, it covers the GA4 data model, custom reporting, conversion setup, and connecting analytics to marketing decisions. If you’ve never formally learned GA4, start here regardless of how long you’ve been using it casually. The Advanced Analytics course is for practitioners who are already confident in GA4 and want to build attribution modelling, multi-channel analysis, and data-led optimisation capability. Take the foundation course first if there’s any doubt.

Yes, every module is standalone. You receive a WSQ Statement of Attainment for each module you complete independently. If you later decide to pursue the full Certified AI-Enabled Data Analyst certification, completed modules count toward it with no repeat required. Many learners start with one or two modules most relevant to their current role, then stack toward the full credential over time. Platform-specific modules (Power BI, Tableau) are also popular as standalone courses for professionals who just need that specific tool capability.

It is genuinely integrated, not a badge. AI-assisted analytical workflows are embedded across all five modules of the certification programme, not confined to a single “AI module”. In Module 1, you use AI tools to assist data exploration and hypothesis generation. In Module 3, Power BI’s AI-enhanced features (Copilot, Smart Narratives, decomposition trees) are core curriculum, not optional extras. The programme is designed around how analytics practitioners actually work today, where AI tools are part of the standard analytical workflow.

After SSG funding, the nett fee varies based on your citizenship, employment status, and company size. As a general guide, eligible individuals typically pay around 30% of the full module fee per module. SkillsFuture Credit ($500 per Singaporean aged 25+) can be applied on top of the subsidy. No, all software access is provided during training. Learners access tools through trainer-provided accounts or free trial licences arranged for the programme duration. After training: GA4 is free (Google account required); Power BI Desktop is free for individual use; Power BI Pro/Premium is required for sharing (typically employer-provided); Tableau offers a free 14-day trial post-training, after which a paid licence is required. Our trainers will advise on the most cost-effective post-training setup for your specific use case.

Assessment is competency-based and applied, not a technical exam. Each module is assessed via a written case study assessment (open-book, 90 minutes) and an individual project presentation (30 minutes). Both assessments are based on applying the skills learned to a realistic business scenario. You are demonstrating that you can use the tools and frameworks taught to solve a real business problem, not that you can recall definitions under pressure. Participants who engage actively during training consistently complete assessments successfully.
