Want a portfolio & career placement?
Pair this course with an Equinet Career Programme
This course builds your capability and certifies you. It does not include a project-based capstone, client placement, or career coaching. Our Career Programmes are built for that: three months on a real project brief, your own product idea or a host organisation, with dedicated career support and mentorship throughout.
Many graduates take both: the course for the certification and capability, a Career Programme for the portfolio case study and placement. Speak to a course consultant about the combined pathway.

Differentiators
What Makes This Programme Different
Most photo editing courses teach tools and sliders. The Certified Photo Editor programme helps learners build a repeatable editing process for consistent, polished, and properly delivered images.
Get Certified
Certification Pathway
To attain the Certified Photo Editor certification by Equinet Academy, complete the following modules:
- Module 1: Mobile Photo Editing with Lightroom and Creative Apps (2 days, 16 Hours)
- Module 2: Desktop Photo Editing and Retouching (Photoshop and Lightroom) (2 days, 16 Hours)
- Pass all module assessments across all two modules
Each module can also be taken as a standalone course. Learners who have already completed one or more modules as standalone courses may count those toward the Certified Photo Editor certification by completing the remaining modules.
Candidates who complete each module with at least 75% attendance and demonstrate competency in all assessments will receive the corresponding award for that module. Candidates who complete both modules will receive the Certified Photo Editor certificate from Equinet Academy.
