If you are new to UX and UI design, start with UX UI Design Essentials, it gives you a complete grounding in both disciplines in a structured sequence. If you already have UX experience, go directly to Advanced UX UI Design. If you need Figma specifically, What The Figma (WTF) is the right starting point regardless of experience level.

UX (User Experience) design focuses on how a product works, the research, user flows, wireframes, and interaction logic that make something usable. UI (User Interface) design focuses on how a product looks, the visual design, component systems, typography, colour, and layout that make something aesthetically compelling and consistent. Both disciplines are covered across all Equinet UX UI courses.

No prior experience is needed for UX UI Design Essentials or What The Figma (WTF), both are designed to be accessible to beginners and career switchers. Advanced UX UI Design assumes familiarity with UX concepts and design tools. Check individual course pages for recommended prerequisites.

The Certified UX Designer is a multi-module certification programme covering the full UX design process, user research, personas and journey mapping, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and high-fidelity UI design. You graduate with a formal credential and a portfolio of real project work.

All UX UI courses use Figma, which is free to access via browser. You do not need to purchase any software before attending. The What The Figma (WTF) course covers everything from setting up your Figma account through to advanced workflows. Bring your own laptop to class.

Funding eligibility depends on the specific course and your profile. Select Equinet UX UI design courses qualify for SkillsFuture Credit and SSG subsidies. Check individual course pages for current funding details or contact us for guidance.

Yes, for eligible courses. You can apply your SkillsFuture Credit directly through the SkillsFuture portal during registration. Check the individual course page to confirm whether it is currently funded.

Most courses are available as in-person classroom training at Equinet Academy’s venue at 10 Anson Road, International Plaza, Singapore. Select courses are also available as online classroom sessions. Check the individual course page for formats currently available.

Yes. Equinet offers customised corporate UX and UI design training for product teams, design teams, and cross-functional groups who need to develop shared design capability. SSG group training grants are available for eligible companies. Contact us for a training needs consultation.
