Trainer's Bio
Avantika Jain brings a distinctive combination of strategic, operational and human-centred experience to change management and leadership development. An INSEAD MBA and former McKinsey consultant, she has spent over a decade working across consulting, e-commerce, FinTech and entrepreneurship, with experience spanning business strategy, transformation, growth and people leadership.
Avantika has held senior leadership roles at Lazada and Fave, where she worked in fast-moving environments characterised by rapid growth, shifting priorities and constant organisational change. As General Manager of Fave Singapore, she held P&L responsibility and led a 36-member cross-functional team, navigating the practical realities of business transformation: aligning people around changing priorities, communicating difficult decisions, managing uncertainty and resistance, and maintaining trust and momentum while delivering business outcomes.
These experiences shaped her belief that successful change is rarely only about having the right strategy or implementation plan. Change ultimately happens through people. Even a well-designed transformation can lose momentum when employees do not understand what is changing, why it matters, what it means for them, or whether they feel equipped to move forward.
Today, Avantika brings together her experience in business transformation, senior leadership and behavioural change to design and facilitate practical learning experiences for leaders and teams. Her work focuses on change management, leadership, emotional intelligence, resilience, communication and team effectiveness.
Alongside her corporate and leadership experience, Avantika has accumulated more than 3,200 hours of coaching and facilitation experience. Her work with individuals, professionals, leaders and teams has given her a close understanding of the human dynamics that often determine whether change succeeds or stalls: uncertainty, fear of loss, resistance, motivation, identity, trust, communication and the need for a sense of agency.
This combination allows Avantika to approach change management from both sides of the equation. She understands the organisational realities leaders face, the pressure to deliver results, move quickly and maintain alignment, while also understanding what change can feel like for the people expected to adopt it. Her work helps leaders bridge this gap by translating change strategy into communication, conversations and leadership behaviours that build clarity, trust and ownership.
As a facilitator, Avantika is known for making complex ideas practical and relatable. Rather than treating change management as a collection of models to memorise, she uses established frameworks alongside real workplace scenarios, guided reflection, discussion and practical application. Participants are encouraged to examine how they personally respond to change, understand the different ways their team members may react, and practise approaches for communicating change, navigating resistance and sustaining engagement through periods of uncertainty.
Avantika’s facilitation experience spans corporate teams, leaders, government-related organisations, educational institutions and purpose-driven organisations. She has designed and delivered learning experiences for diverse audiences, bringing the same principle to each engagement: meaningful change requires both strategic clarity and an understanding of human behaviour.
An ACLP 2.0-certified adult educator, Avantika designs learning experiences that are interactive, grounded and immediately applicable. Her aim is for participants to leave not only understanding change management frameworks, but also with greater confidence in the conversations, decisions and leadership behaviours required to help their teams navigate change effectively.
Her approach can be summarised in one principle: change may begin with strategy, but it moves through people.
