Programme Overview

What This Programme Is About

Smartphone video is no longer just for casual filming. With the right control, planning, and direction, a smartphone can be used to produce clear, stable, and professional-looking videos for business, social media, and content production.

However, good smartphone video requires more than pressing record. The real difference comes from knowing how to control camera settings, frame shots properly, move the camera smoothly, plan sequences, and guide a small production team during a shoot.

The Certified Smartphone Videographer programme helps learners build these skills through a structured pathway from basic filming control to more confident planning and direction. Learners develop the confidence to film with intention, plan better shots, and produce videos that look more polished and purposeful.
