Jeremiah Oh

Trainer's Bio

Jeremiah Oh is a visionary director skilled in directing and producing across different genres in film, television drama, documentary, commercials, and corporate branding, driven by a deep passion and desire to translate vision and ideas to film and video. He pushes the boundaries of filmmaking with imagination and a keen sense of observation, reflected in his groundbreaking short film Hush, which caught the attention of the media world. In 2019, Jeremiah made the bold move to become a Producer. His films have travelled to various International Film Festivals and were nominated for awards.

Jeremiah is also passionate about teaching video and media production, especially using video as a tool to instil discipline, build confidence, and kindle interest for the craft. As an adjunct teacher, Jeremiah has guided and mentored students from local schools and have their films enter various competitions.

Wanting to advance his teaching and professional knowledge, Jeremiah pursued a BA Arts (Film) at LaSalle College of the Arts, where he was awarded the Future Leader Scholarship, fast tracked to the final year, and graduated with First Class Honours.

In 2017, Jeremiah was offered a Video Producer and Training Manager position at Shootsta to help build its training division in Asia. In this role, Jeremiah travelled across Asia to train clients to produce their own video content in-house. In 2020, Jeremiah was promoted to Global Head of Education to oversee Shootsta’s training and education globally. During his employment, Jeremiah attained the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance to refine his teaching methods and create better learning experiences for his clients. At Shootsta, Jeremiah has trained over 30 clients across Asia with his unique blend of practical and theoretical application.
