Gordon is a confidence coach with nearly 40 years of public speaking expertise and over 30 years of professional emceeing experience. As the founder of The Centre Stage, Gordon has dedicated his career to unlocking the leadership potential and confidence of individuals and teams across diverse industries and professional levels.

Throughout his coaching journey, Gordon has empowered hundreds of clients—from ambitious students to senior executives—helping them overcome limiting beliefs, sharpen their leadership skills, and become more confident individuals. His client portfolio includes reputable organisations such as finexis, Acorn Wealth, Lazada, Esplanade, NAFA & Singapore Polytechnic.

Before founding The Centre Stage, Gordon spent nearly a decade in higher education as a lecturer at Republic Polytechnic, where his excellence in facilitation earned him three consecutive nominations for Outstanding Facilitator awards. He also received the prestigious Curriculum Innovation Award (2021) for pioneering effective home-based learning strategies and was recognised twice among the 100 Most Appreciated Mentors (2017 & 2018) for his exceptional coaching and mentorship.

Alongside coaching, Gordon is a renowned emcee who has been a fundamental part of the Esplanade’s Baybeats Festival since it began in 2002. His deep industry knowledge and performance background have made him a sought-after mentor, currently leading the Baybeats Budding Emcee Programme, where he recruits, auditions, and develops the next generation of emcees.
