Build Real-World UX/UI Skills and a Career-Ready Portfolio.

UX/UI Design Career Programme Overview

Our UX/UI Design Career Programme is structured into four key phases to guide you from pre-qualification to job placement.

Phase 1: Pre-qualification – Your journey begins with submitting your CV and completing an assessment to determine your design aptitude, preferred industry, expected starting salary, and specialisation focus (UX, UI, or product design). You’ll then attend an interview with a career consultant or record a video interview.

Phase 2: Programme Acceptance – Once accepted, you’ll enrol in the programme and either secure a host organisation or receive assistance to be attached to one. You’ll complete the Certified UX Designer (CUXD) programme, which covers UX/UI Design Essentials, UI Design, What The Figma (WTF), and Advanced UX/UI Design.

Phase 3: Portfolio Building – To showcase your design expertise, you’ll participate in group mentoring sessions, receive direct guidance from your assigned mentor, and complete a UX/UI Capstone Project that demonstrates end-to-end design thinking, from user research to high-fidelity prototypes.

Phase 4: Job Placement – In the final phase, you’ll receive career advice and mentoring, along with a job-seeking assistance package that includes portfolio card creation and outreach to our network of hiring partners and employers. You’ll also benefit from job interview coordination tailored to your career goals.

This structured workflow with timelines ensures you are well-prepared and confident as you embark on your UX/UI design career.

The entire programme typically spans 4–6 months upon acceptance. After enrolling, you will first complete the Certified UX Designer (CUXD) modules, which run for 1–3 months depending on the intake schedule. You may also choose to take additional elective modules depending on your area of design specialisation. You will then proceed into the 3-month UX/UI Design Capstone programme where you will be attached to a host organisation or attachment company to build your portfolio.

It is recommended to secure a host organisation or attachment company before starting the programme, as this allows you to work on real projects and apply class learnings in a practical context. If you are unable to secure a host before the start of the programme, we will assist you in finding a suitable host organisation during your CUXD journey.

After completing the CUXD modules, you’ll move on to your UX/UI Capstone Project with your host organisation for the next 3 months. You’ll have direct access to your assigned mentor, who will guide you through the project development and ensure your portfolio is industry-ready.

Finally, you will transit into the job placement phase, where we will create a portfolio card for you and arrange job interviews through our extensive network of hiring partners.
