Build Confidence, Credibility, and a Portfolio-Ready UX/UI Project That Wins Opportunities

Course Description

This programme is designed to equip you with the practical skills to complete a full end-to-end UX/UI project, boosting your portfolio and career prospects as a designer.

Over 3 months, learners will conduct user research, create personas and journey maps, develop wireframes, build interactive prototypes in Figma, and run usability tests to validate their designs.

Each learner will work on a comprehensive project brief, either based on their own product idea or a host organisation. Learners will benefit from the guidance of mentors who are industry practitioners in UX/UI design, ensuring their projects meet real-world standards.

Pre-requisites

  • Strong Foundational Knowledge of UX/UI Concepts:
Learners should have a solid understanding of core UX/UI principles such as user research, personas, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design basics. This can be demonstrated by completing the Certified UX Designer (CUXD) programme modules or having equivalent project experience.

Company-sponsored learners may use their own organisation, while non-sponsored learners will be attached to a host project.
  • Basic Analytical & Critical Thinking Skills:
Learners should have basic analytical skills, including synthesising user research, interpreting usability feedback, and making design improvements based on data.
  • Comfort with Presenting:
Learners should be comfortable delivering presentations as they will be required to present their UX/UI case study during the course.
