Temporary Deferment of Online Classes

***Update*** As of 4th August 2020, all affected Equinet Academy digital marketing courses in Singapore are now made available in dual learning modes (e-learning and in-person).

Since the start of phase 2, face-to-face training has been permitted to resume. However, in order to conduct training in both e-learning and face-to-face training, training providers were required to go through a process of reconversion and reaccreditation of our courses. While we have since submitted all the necessary applications on our end, due to unforeseen delays in course conversion approval by SkillsFuture Singapore, compounded by a scheduled blackout of the SkillsConnect system from mid to late July, our classes are currently approved for face to face training but our online learning classes are pending reaccreditation and will not be able to run until approved.

We will be progressively contacting affected trainees. Trainees currently registered for affected courses have the following options:

  1. Convert your class to face-to-face training
  2. Postpone your class to another e-learning class at a later date. Due to the circumstances, e-learning dates are currently tentative and may need to be further postponed.
  3. Withdraw with full refund of course fees paid

We are working with SSG to have our e-learning courses reaccredited. However, due to the scheduled system blackout of the SkillsConnect platform and upgrading works being done on their new Training Grant System, SSG is unable to expedite the course approval procedure.

On our part, this was a misestimation of the timeline and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused our students.

For prospective trainees who have yet to sign up, please contact us for an estimated timeline for course approval, or if you have any concerns. We will do our best to address them.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during these uncertain times.

Sincerely,
The Team at Equinet Academy
