This intensive two-day Advanced Digital Marketing Analytics (GAIQ Certification) training course is designed to stretch your comfort level with Google Analytics and guide you through the technical aspects of the platform to extract maximum data insights.

The instructional methods combine a healthy balance of theory with plenty of hands-on exercises, designed to explore advanced analytics concepts such as enhanced data capturing and analysis capabilities that will bring your understanding of digital marketing analytics to the next level.

You will learn, amongst other important concepts, how to track extensive data points across multiple-domains & devices, collect deeper user behaviour insights, set up ecommerce tracking, and customise data specific to a business’s needs with Google Analytics. Through this, you will be able to simplify data analysis and obtain deeper insights to drive important business decisions.

Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) Certification

Achieving the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification demonstrates competency in basic and advanced Google Analytics concepts. Upon achieving a passing score of at least 80%, you will attain a Google Analytics Individual Qualification certificate, awarded by Google. The certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of passing the exam.

This course covers concepts and topics similar to the GAIQ certification study resources at Google SkillShop, adding on real world case studies and more advanced concepts. Trainees of this course will be entitled to complimentary prep sessions to revise and take the GAIQ assessment after the course. Anyone currently in, or looking to be in, a digital marketing role with a brand or agency, who understands the importance of data analytics in digital marketing, and wants to attain the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification.

Certification

A Certification of Achievement will be issued by Equinet Academy upon achieving attendance of at least 75% of the course. A Google Analytics Individual Qualification Certification will be issued by Google upon achieving at least an 80% score.

Pre-requisites

Entry to this course will only be granted to individuals who have passed the Google Analytics for Beginners Course in the last 12 months or have successfully graduated from Equinet’s WSQ Digital Marketing Analytics Course. You will be required to upload your certificate(s) in the registration form on the following page.

In-person classroom learning mode: Each participant will be provided a windows laptop for the duration of the course. Participants may however opt to bring their own laptops.

Online-classroom learning mode: Personal computer, stable internet connection of at least 10mbps, webcam, microphone, video conferencing platform, and other logistical requirements outlined in the Online-based Classroom Learner Guide.

What is the difference between the WSQ Digital Marketing Analytics course, this advanced course, and the Google Analytics Individual Qualification study resources?
The WSQ Digital Marketing Analytics Course covers the fundamental concepts of digital marketing analytics. The advanced Digital Marketing Analytics course goes into more detail covering more advanced concepts of digital marketing analytics. You may go through and review both course outlines in detail and contact us should you have any specific questions on this.

This course covers topics and concepts similar to the Google Analytics certification study resources at Google SkillShop, adding on real world case studies and more advanced concepts.

What is the GAIQ Certification about?
Achieving the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certification demonstrates competency in basic and advanced Google Analytics concepts. The certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of passing the exam.
Will I be able to attain the GAIQ Certificate at the end of the course?
No. However, there will be complimentary GAIQ prep sessions which you can book and attend after the course. You will also be able to attempt the GAIQ exam during the prep session. The link to book the sessions will be shared by the trainer during class.
Is 2 days sufficient to meet the learning objectives?
Equinet Academy’s courses are designed to provide bite-sized yet comprehensive information to be delivered within 1-3 days. The courses not only include theory but also hands-on practical experience so that trainees can take away applicable knowledge.

If you feel that you have not met the learning objectives at the end of the course, you are always welcomed to resit the course online without any cost on your end. You will also have lifetime access to the courseware online which you may review, and post-training clinic sessions to address your challenges with a subject matter expert.

What is the difference between online classroom and face-to-face traditional classroom?
Typically, in a traditional classroom, classes are conducted with 1 trainer to 20 – 24 learners in a cluster or classroom seating format. Group discussions, group presentations, lectures, peer-to-peer coaching are all conducted face-to-face (in-person).

In an online-based classroom, lessons will be delivered via a video conferencing software, Zoom. Lectures will be conducted via screensharing, while group discussions and group brainstorming will be conducted via “breakout” rooms (individual virtual rooms) to split up discussions into smaller groups.

Both learning modes essentially offer the same course content and learning outcomes.

Can't I learn everything online?
Our courses offer a very hands on approach so that you will be able to apply these content marketing strategies learnt in the course in real life practical situations. Moreover, our trainers are industry experts who can clarify your doubts in real time. We also offer post-training support which includes up to three 3-hour small group clinic sessions with an industry expert, an online refresher seat within a year post-training, forum support, and lifetime access to up-to-date courseware via the learning portal.
If I have specific questions relating to digital marketing analytics after the course, can I consult the trainer?

Do I have to prepare anything before attending the course?

For in-person training, do bring along a laptop. You also have the option to loan a laptop from us for the duration of the course. You may also want to bring along a jacket in case the room gets cold.

Are there any other prerequisites/ criteria I need to meet in order to attend this course?
You are required to have basic computer navigational skills such as opening and closing, dragging and dropping, copying and pasting of files.

If you have no prior experience in digital marketing analytics, you will need to complete the WSQ Digital Marketing Analytics course or pass the Google Analytics for Beginners assessments prior to this course.

Will this course allow me to acquire sufficient skills to find a job as a digital marketer?
Though you may gain useful skills and applicable knowledge after completing this course, landing a job in digital marketing is a different level as some field experience is required.
