Trainer's Bio
Mr See Weng Lung has more than 35 years professional experience in investment banking, corporate finance, credit risk management, fintech and IT training in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
He is currently CEO of Genfinance Pte. Ltd., which focuses on AI and Generative AI applications in finance and banking. He is also an Associate Trainer and Subject Matter Expert with NTUC LearningHub, an Associate Lecturer at Republic Polytechnic, a corporate trainer with Xaltius and recently, was an instructor for the WSQ Gen AI Bootcamp at Vertical Institute. He is an experienced trainer in AI and Generative AI for finance, data analytics, financial technology, credit risk, corporate finance and digital transformation.
Previously, Mr See served as Director, Asia Pacific Senior Risk Management at UniCredit Bank AG, where he helped manage a EUR 3 billion credit portfolio covering project finance, leveraged finance, securitisation, shipping, corporates and trade finance. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking and corporate finance with organisations including Citibank, Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia, Maybank Investment Bank and Hwang-DBS Securities.
He has also founded and led an AI-driven corporate credit rating fintech and has extensive experience developing and delivering professional programmes for financial services professionals and senior corporate executives.
Mr See holds an MBA in Finance and MIS from Boston University and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
