Course Outline
What You’ll Learn
Day 1 builds the diagnostic and planning foundations: understanding what makes digital change distinctly challenging, assessing readiness, and applying the ADKAR and Kotter frameworks to plan and communicate change with precision. Day 2 extends into the leadership disciplines that determine whether planned change becomes sustained change: managing resistance, coaching teams through the emotional journey, and embedding the change so it lasts.

No. The course builds from the foundations of why digital change is uniquely challenging and what the research shows about change success and failure. What you do need is a real change initiative to draw on throughout both days – either one you are currently leading or one you have recently been through.
This is the Transformation tier course, it integrates and applies everything developed across the programme. The change communication planning extends Effective Communication. The readiness assessment and ADKAR diagnosis apply Critical and Analytical Thinking. The change curve work applies Emotional Intelligence. The resistance management extends Conflict Management. The stakeholder engagement in change campaigns extends Stakeholder Management. The team coaching through change extends People Management. Every discipline from the programme has a specific application in this course.
Both are with digital transformation as the primary context. The ADKAR and Kotter frameworks apply to any organisational change. The specific applications in this course – AI tool adoption, process automation, digital platform rollouts, and role restructuring – are all drawn from digital transformation contexts that learners in the Certified People Leader In The Digital Age programme are navigating.
Two components on Day 2: a 90-minute open-book Case Study Written Assessment with 5 structured questions applying the course frameworks to a realistic digital transformation change scenario, and a 30-minute Individual Project Presentation where you present a brief change leadership analysis and recommendation.
T12 explicitly bridges to Management Leadership and Organisational Design. The change leadership self-assessment and the embedding and measurement disciplines from this course are the direct precursor to the strategic leadership and organisational design capability developed in the Integration tier.
